PALMDALE : Slain Deputy’s Fiancee Gives Birth
The fiancee of undercover narcotics Sheriff’s Deputy Richard B. Hammock, killed during a drug raid in Palmdale in May, has given birth to their son, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Wednesday.
Tammy Zeiner gave birth to 6-pound, 2-ounce Richard Randall Hammock on Sept. 5. Both are doing well.
Deputy Hammock died in a gun battle at a Palmdale trailer park May 11. In July, city officials named a new $2-million community recreation center after Hammock.
