Opposition to Prop. 167
Your article (“Tax-the-Rich Backers Hope to Tap Voters’ Anger,” Sept. 3) claims that those against Prop. 167 are “corporate opponents of the measure, operating as Californians for Jobs, Not More Taxes.”
What about small business owners such as myself who make up 75% of the businesses in California? We are very opposed to destroying the business climate already suffering during the current recession. Only expanding businesses can create the needed jobs in California. No one pays taxes without a job.
