Newhart’s Old Pals: Bob Newhart will be among friends when he tapes an episode of his new CBS sitcom, “Bob,” on Friday. Bill Daily, who played Howard on “The Bob Newhart Show”; Tom Poston, who appeared as handyman George Utley on Newhart’s other popular series, “Newhart”; and Dick Martin, the “Laugh-In” star who directed several “Newhart” episodes, will guest-star on the series. The episode is about a group of comic-book artists who join Newhart’s character, comic-book artist Bob McKay, for a game of poker. It airs Nov. 6 at 9:30 p.m.
