GARDEN GROVE : Man Arrested After Running Off Road

A Garden Grove man was arrested Friday after his car careened through a fence and stopped on the edge of the back-yard swimming pool, police said.
Jose Silvano Vences, 29, was booked on suspicion of drunk driving, Sgt. Jack Stepanovich said.
Vences was westbound on Lampson Avenue shortly before 9 a.m. when he veered off the road and through a fence of a house in the 12000 block of Groveview Street, Stepanovich said.
The suspect, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to the Orange County Jail.
