Readers Call Murray for Double Faults on Edberg and the Irish
The Times does the legions of tennis fans a terrible disservice by allowing Jim Murray, an uninformed, tennis-loathing hacker, the opportunity to slander the sport that, in truth, requires more varied and inherent skill to excel than perhaps any other athletic endeavor.
If Jim Murray is the best you can do, I’d be happy to cover tennis for you in my spare time. No, better yet, let me cover baseball. I hate baseball!
