Kings’ Zhitnik Leads Victory in Exhibition

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Kings got two goals from Alexei Zhitnik and defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-2, Sunday in an exhibition.
Zhitnik, 19, who played for the Red Army team in the former Soviet Union, scored the game’s first goal 39 seconds after the opening faceoff.
He added a goal in 7:12 of the final period and assisted on the Kings’ last goal, by Luc Robitaille.
