Private Clinics Burden Doctors
It was encouraging to read that our county is saving hundreds of thousands of dollars while providing improved medical care for the poor by privatizing outpatient clinics. “ . . . It provides a profit incentive for the doctors and frees them of unnecessary bureaucratic controls.”
It is too bad that the federal government believes that it will reduce costs and improve care for the elderly Medicare patient by removing the profit incentive for doctors and hospitals and burdening them with ever-increasing unnecessary bureaucratic controls.
