Nixon’s Advice to President Bush
How good it is to hear occasionally from Richard M. Nixon, retired statesman. And how natural of him to concentrate his advice to Bush not on any particular principle, but on how to get reelected, one way or another.
His calling the Revs. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson fanatics is no sop to me. He can afford to disown the religious right now. He’s not running for election.
But stay alert. People can get nostalgic for the strangest things.
