An injury to Iran Barkley has forced cancellation of his IBF super-middleweight title defense against Doug DeWitt, scheduled for Oct. 16 in Beijing.
Promoter Bob Arum said Barkley was examined last week by a doctor who advised him to have therapy on a severely inflamed left elbow for the next two weeks.
