PASADENA : Bacteria Levels Force Area to Avoid Tap Water
Residents of a four-block-long area of Pasadena were advised Thursday for the second day not to consume their tap water after an inspection turned up high bacteria levels in one of the neighborhood’s main water pipes, authorities said.
A spokesman for the Pasadena Water and Power Department said that most of the several dozen households affected by the problem could expect to safely resume using tap water by this afternoon, but that it may be Sunday before the problem is resolved for others.
