Countywide : Detention Ministry to Help Children
Orange County’s Detention Ministry is now providing free refreshments and activities for children whose parents are visiting inmates at Orange County Juvenile Hall.
The activities will take place each Sunday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in front of the juvenile detention facility, located at 331 The City Drive in Orange.
The children’s program is designed to make it easier for parents to visit the county facility, according to ministry officials.
Children are not allowed to go with their parents inside the hall.
Anyone interested in donating toys or food to the program may call (714) 633-6551.
