Birthday Wishes: Some 100 youngsters and fans sang “Happy Birthday” Tuesday to Gene Autry as the screen’s one-time singing cowboy celebrated his 85th birthday. Autry, clad in his trademark white cowboy hat, denim suit and a gold bolo tie bearing the logo of his California Angels baseball team, said his birthday wish was that “everybody’s dream would come true.” The celebration took place at the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum.
