Gulls Play Second Exhibition Tonight in Phoenix

Share

The Gulls and Phoenix Roadrunners meet for the second time in three nights at 7:30 tonight at the Tucson Convention Center. It will be the final exhibition in preparation of Friday’s season opener against the Salt Lake Golden Eagles.

In Wednesday’s exhibition, the Gulls, with an emphasis on defense, proved Coach Rick Dudley correct with a 9-2 victory. Dudley has been saying that despite the loss of several key scorers from last year’s team, offense will not be a problem because defensemen will become more involved with the attack.

The exhibition game will be carried live by KSDO (AM 1130) and KGMG (AM 1320) with a pregame show beginning at 7.
