Election Countdown: First Lady Barbara Bush will open the White House to ABC’s “Home” show Wednesday morning. . . . CNN will examine the “phenomenon that is Ross Perot” on an hourlong special Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. Catherine Crier will anchor. . . . And for the week of Oct. 24-31, every program on CNBC will focus on an issue of the presidential race, with much of the programming incorporating viewer call-in to get voter opinion during the final days of the campaign.
