COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titans Spread Around the Scoring to Defeat Santa Barbara in Soccer

Five players scored as Cal State Fullerton beat UC Santa Barbara, 5-0, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer match Sunday at Fullerton.
Mark Vaught scored in the first half and Demian Brown, J.B. McCormack, Jason Renz and Bryan Rodenkirk scored in the second for the Titans (9-2). Santa Barbara is 2-8.
In another Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer match:
New Mexico 1, UC Irvine 0 (OT)--Edmundo Rodriquez scored in overtime for host New Mexico (9-2-1). UC Irvine is 3-8.
In a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation water polo match:
UC Irvine 8, University of the Pacific 5--Mark Stevenson scored four goals for visiting Irvine (8-6), which is ranked fifth in the nation. Pacific (7-6) tied it, 3-3, early in the second quarter, but Stevenson scored twice and Pablo Yrizar once to give Irvine a 6-3 lead at the half. Pacific is ranked 10th.
