ANGLE WARS: It was a struggle, but Irvine city officials finally did it--they got regular council watcher Linda Grau off camera at Tuesday night’s meeting. Grau sat behind the speaker’s table, so that anyone watching on cable TV would have to see her sign: “Had Enough? Vote Libertarian.” . . . . After much whispering what to do about her, they finally approached her and asked her to not flash her sign. She refused. But the skirmish wasn’t over. Officials then persuaded the TV technicians to move their camera angle to cut her out. It worked.
