Charles H. Noski has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Hughes Aircraft Co. Noski succeeds Michael T. Smith, who will remain as vice chairman.
At the same time, W. Allen Reed was elected vice president and treasurer of GM Hughes Electronics, the parent company of Hughes. Reed will retain his position as corporate vice president and treasurer of Hughes and, in that capacity, report to Noski.
Noski, 39, has been with Torrance-based Hughes since 1990, when he was elected corporate vice president and controller.
Reed, 45, joined Hughes in 1984 as president of Hughes Investment Management Co., a subsidiary responsible for the management of funds held in the company’s retirement and savings plans.
