Royal 35, Channel Islands 6--Senior running back Michael Streeter ran for one touchdown, threw for another and returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to lead the Highlanders at Channel Islands.

Streeter’s 43-yard run around right end in the second quarter gave Royal (3-3, 2-1) an early 7-0 lead. Later in the quarter, Streeter took the pitch and tossed a 78-yard scoring pass to David Brown to give Royal a 14-6 halftime lead. Streeter then took the opening kickoff of the third quarter for 95 yards.

Junior quarterback Matt Olsen hit Brown on a 92-yard touchdown pass for a 28-6 Highlander lead.

Channel Islands’ only score came in the second quarter on a seven-yard touchdown run by running back Sal Lopez. The Raiders (2-4, 0-3) fumbled eight times but lost only one.
