‘Leap’ Into Controversy

Concerning the article (Calendar, Sept. 22) and the television show “Quantum Leap” (NBC): What time period is (executive producer) Donald Ballisario living in? The U.S. government officially stated that (Lee Harvey) Oswald probably was part of a conspiracy, most intelligent people who take a cursory interest in the assassination (of President Kennedy) agree. Yet on this particular episode we are treated to the same hogwash that has been discredited years before.

A lot of people do not believe this version, and never did, so why regurgitate the shallow, transparent quasi-facts on prime time?
