SAN DIEGO : Gunmen Take Car After Bumping It
Two gunmen robbed a woman and stole her car Saturday when she stepped out to inspect the vehicle for damage after the suspects bumped it at an intersection, San Diego police said.
According to police, the unidentified woman was stopped at Meadowbrook and Shorewood drives in Encanto at 9:42 p.m. when her car was hit lightly from behind by a pickup truck.
Police said the woman got out of her car to inspect for damage when two men jumped out of the pickup with guns drawn. One gunman ordered the woman to the ground and demanded her jewelry, police said.
The other gunman ordered two passengers out of the victim’s car. Investigators said one gunman got in the car and drove off, followed by the second gunman in the pickup.
There were no injuries in the incident.
