Beach Boy Fracas: The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson is being sued by his cousin and Beach Boy co-founder Mike Love, who claims Wilson defamed him in his 1991 autobiography “Wouldn’t It Be Nice--My Own Story.” The suit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, contends that Wilson damaged Love’s reputation by minimizing his role in writing such Beach Boy hits as “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations,” and also alleges libel, slander and invasion of privacy. Love seeks unspecified damages. Wilson’s attorney says the suit is groundless.
