Behind the Scenes : After Five at Tiffany’s

Share

More than 100 guests got the chance to preview the new Signature jewelry collection from Tiffany & Co. at the South Coast Plaza boutique last week. Crafted from 18 karat gold and detailed with diamonds, the line was created, they say, for the modern woman. With that in mind, the event was a perfect occasion to honor the Designing Women, a group of professionals who put in overtime assisting local charities. Attendees sampled hors d’oeuvres and wine and mingled with models made up to look like Truman Capote’s Holly Golightly character (played by Audrey Hepburn in the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”). The Hepburn wanna-bes showed off the line while a string trio played “Moon River.” Capote would have loved it.
