Voters tell us they hunger for solid information on where candidates stand on meaningful issues. They complain that they want more than 30-second television commercials and personal attacks.

So we asked tough questions of every northern Los Angeles County candidate seeking to represent you in the state Assembly, Senate or Congress.

And we polled registered voters in the Valley to find out what they think are the vital issues in the Nov. 3 elections.
