19 Injured as Glass Flies at Miami Game
Nineteen people were injured, none seriously, after fans pounding on a glass partition at Joe Robbie Stadium broke it and sent glass flying into a lower level near the end of Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins, authorities said.
Some people were treated at the scene, and others were taken to various local hospitals for treatment of cuts and bruises after the 7:10 p.m. EST incident near the end of the Colts’ 31-20 victory, officials said.
Fans had been pounding on the partition at the bottom of an upper deck stairway when it broke, said Dolphin spokesman Harvey Greene.
