CAMARILLO : Trucks, Computers Stolen From Firm
Two trucks and trailers loaded with about 600 Packard Bell personal computers worth an estimated $200,000 were stolen from a trucking company’s yard in Camarillo, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies said.
Marc White, the manager of GI Trucking Co. of Camarillo, told police that he found the company’s gate lock cut Monday morning.
He later received a call from a client who saw one of the trucks abandoned in Huntington Beach with its lights flashing.
Six additional trucks with trailers were also loaded with computers ready to be shipped throughout the country.
Deputies have no suspects.
