LOS ANGELES : Household Hazardous Waste Roundup Set Nov. 14
The Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation is sponsoring a household hazardous waste roundup from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Dodger Stadium in the advance ticket sales parking lot, 1750 Stadium Way, Elysian Park.
The program is designed to give residents the opportunity to safely discard up to five gallons or 50 pounds of automotive products, pesticides and herbicides, outdated medicine and cleaning solvents such as varnish remover and nail polish. Waste generated by small businesses and industry will not be accepted.
Throwing away household chemicals with the regular garbage or pouring them down the drain damages the environment and is against the law.
