San Diego : Motorcyclist Killed by Tanker Truck
A motorcyclist was killed early Thursday on Interstate 15 after he ran into a tanker truck, the California Highway Patrol said.
John David Fischer Jr., 37, of San Diego crashed into the right rear of the truck and was thrown under the wheels, CHP officials said.
According to CHP reports, witnesses said Fischer was trying to merge onto the northbound slow lane of I-15 near the Market Street on-ramp when he hit the rig.
