State Assemblyman Richard Katz and Los Angeles City Councilman Michael Woo notified the city’s ethics office Friday that they have each raised at least $200,000 to run for mayor of Los Angeles.

They were the second and third prospective mayoral candidates to reach that benchmark fund level.

Councilman Nate Holden, who also has said he may run for mayor in next spring’s election, informed the Ethics Commission on Oct. 16 that he had hit the $200,000 mark, city officials said.

Prospective candidates are required to notify the commission when they either raise or spend their first $200,000.
