EDUCATION NEWS : 2 Damien Graduates Get Placement Awards

Two 1992 graduates of Damien High School in La Verne are among 14 students nationwide to receive the 1992 National Advanced Placement Scholars Award from the College Board based on their scores on the college-level Advanced Placement examinations taken while they were at Damien.
They are Sooketoo Bhuta of Pomona, a student at Caltech, and Michael Cho of San Dimas, who is studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
