Hennessy Shoots 72 to Win Golf Title
SAN CLEMENTE —
Julie Hennessy of Lewiston, Minn., shot a final-round 72 to win the Players West Women’s Classic Thursday at Pacific Golf Club.
She finished with a three-day total of 218, four shots better than second-place Dina Ammaccapane of Phoenix. Hennessy won $1,525 and Ammaccapane took home $1,225. Jean Zedlitz of Pleasanton was fourth and won the tour’s overall championship.
