Boxer’s Win in Senate Race
Barbara Boxer’s conviction that money spent in defense of Germany and Japan would be better spent in America and her respect for the rights of women hardly add up to what Peter H. King calls the “far political left” (On California, Nov. 4). On the other hand, Bruce Herschensohn’s objectification of women--whether calling for the repeal of Roe vs. Wade or frequenting strip joints (“Once, on a lark,” c’mon), was a legitimate campaign issue. It all adds up.
