Libertarians Overlooked

I was sad to note that no mention was made of the Libertarian Party in the article entitled, “Waiting for Perot?” (Nov. 1). While so many voters were trying to decide between the lesser of two (or three) evils, they might have been interested in other choices.

The Libertarian Party will not win at the federal level, but an increasing number of lower-level races are being won by the only other party on the ballot in all 50 states. Also, to my mind, voting for the lesser of two evils sends the false message that the voter agrees with the evil for which he voted. I preferred to cast my vote to send a message that I do not agree with the two largest parties or with Mr. Perot.
