Bosnian Refugees
What an astonishing photograph of Bosnian refugees on your front page (“Waiting Out the War,” Nov. 7). It could have been a painting by a Renaissance artist like Andrea del Sarto or Correggio, only it should have been called “Madonna of the Refugees.”
We need something like this to remind us that there is human beauty and dignity amid abject misery and worldwide violence.
