Anti-Gang Program for Children, Parents
LYNWOOD —
The Lynwood Unified School District will kick off an anti-gang program Saturday with workshops for Hosler Junior High School and Lindbergh Elementary School students and their parents.
As part of the nearly $50,000 Gang Risk Intervention Pilot Program approved by the school board last week, children also will be tutored by Compton Community College students and participate in other activities such as dance classes, according to district officials.
