San Diego : SWAT Team Called to Make Arrest

Share

San Diego police arrested two people Friday on suspicion of burglary, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment. Leslie Rogers, 40, and Calvin Lewis, 31, were both taken into custody, police said.

Police responded Friday morning to reports of two people beating and robbing occupants of a home in the 200 block of South Gregory Street in Logan Heights. Police had been told that the suspects hadn’t received money from a drug deal and had gone to the apartment to collect.

Because the suspects did not come out of the house, police called in SWAT units, who forced their way into the apartment with tear gas before arresting Rogers and Lewis.
