EDUCATION NEWS : Grant to Fund Degree Program for Latinos
The C.P. Haggard School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University has received a $349,000 religion grant from the Pew Charitable Trusts.
The funding will enable the university, in conjunction with the Latin American Bible Institute of La Puente, to establish a degree program for Latino leaders and ministers.
The Pew Charitable Trusts of Philadelphia support activities in the areas of conservation, culture, education, health, public policy and religion.
