Rodney King School Visit
Why is Rodney King quoted and fussed over like some sort of latter-day Aristotle?
Is it true that he spent time in prison as a result of an armed robbery attempt in which he beat a shopkeeper with a tire iron?
Is it true that he led police officers on a chase through residential streets at speeds approaching 100 miles an hour, going through red lights and endangering innocent people?
Why don’t you ever ask him any tough questions? It’s no wonder so many young people see him as a hero. They don’t have the entire story and that’s supposed to be your job.
