A Day Without Art
Today, in conjunction with the World Health Organization’s observance of World AIDS Day, some 4,500 art institutions worldwide are observing special programs to commemorate artists who died from AIDS--related illnesses, or are closing down completely to give us an idea of what a world without artists would be like.
