Shopping Center Coming: A new shopping center featuring a Lucky supermarket is coming to San Clemente.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held earlier this week for Gateway Village Plaza at Avenida Pico and Avenida Presidio.
The 73,000-square-foot combined supermarket and pharmacy will be flanked by another 29,000 square feet of specialty retail shops. It is expected to open in June or July.
