Man Found Fatally Shot in Car
Acting on an anonymous telephone tip, police found an unidentified man shot to death in his car early Wednesday, authorities said.
The victim, who appeared to be in his mid-20s, was discovered sitting in the driver’s seat of his car in a strip mall parking lot at 688 W. Baker St., police said. He appeared to have been shot in the head, Sgt. Mike Millington said.
Investigators said they did not know the motive in the killing. Coroner’s officials were trying to identify the man, Millington said.
It was unclear how long the car had been in the parking lot before the body was discovered. Police declined to provide any more details of the murder.
No suspects were in custody, Millington said.
