The game between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts drew the smallest crowd of the NFL season.

With a game-time windchill factor of minus-5, the 19,429 fans watched Dean Biasucci’s two first-half field goals in a swirling wind give the Colts all they needed Sunday in a 6-0 victory over the Patriots.

The Patriots (2-11) netted only 23 passing yards after eight sacks for 69 yards were deducted.

“We didn’t make any plays,” Patriot quarterback Hugh Millen said. “I’ll put myself at the top of the list.”

For the first time in their history, the Patriots were shut out two consecutive games and three times in a season. Their shutout string reached 10 quarters as the Colts (6-7) got their first shutout in 69 games.
