King Fan Sticks Up for More Coverage

The fact that you printed the letter from J.W. Floyd (Nov. 28) and the headline over the letter demonstrates beyond any reasonable doubt that The Times and its sports editor do not like the sport of hockey. I have a waiting list of more than 20 people who are willing to purchase my season seats on the occasions when I cannot attend the game.
Over the course of the season, more tickets are sold to Kings’ games than to the Lakers, Clippers or Raiders. One must assume that Mr. Floyd and The Times staff don’t get it. The Times’ attitude regarding hockey is as bush as are the other teams in Los Angeles, including the underwhelming Bruin and Trojan football teams.
