Plaid Santas: During Christmas week, “Forever Plaid” at the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills is offering tickets at half price (subject to availability) to patrons who take an unwrapped toy (minimum value of $5) to the box office. The toys will be turned over to a pediatric AIDS and cancer center and to poverty-level families. Meanwhile, from now until year’s end, the Plaids are entertaining audiences with Christmas carol encores, complete with falling snow, after the regular show.
