Image, Orion Home Video Agree to Laser-Disc Deal
Image Entertainment Inc., a Chatsworth distributor of laser-disc recordings, and Orion Home Video have agreed to a new three-year exclusive laser-disc license and distribution deal, company officials said.
The agreement extends a pact first signed in late 1987 between Image and Orion Home Video, a unit of Orion Pictures Corp. Orion has 10 major feature films completed and scheduled for release beginning this month, and Image said it intends to release them all on laser disc.
