Money Supply Mixed: The Federal Reserve Board reported that the measure of the nation’s money supply known as M2, rose in the week ended Dec. 7 to a seasonally adjusted $3,509.5 billion from a revised $3,503.2 billion the week before . An even broader measure, M3, fell to a seasonally adjusted $4,187.0 billion from a revised $4,187.1 billion. The narrowest measure, M1, rose to a seasonally adjusted $1,022.5 billion from $1,020.1 billion.
