Morehouse Net, Sales Increase

Morehouse Industries Inc., the Fullerton manufacturer of industrial equipment and engineering products, reported first-quarter 1993 earnings of $143,000, or 4 cents a share, up 88% from $76,000, or 2 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Sales for the quarter ended Nov. 30 rose 91%, to $2.1 million from $1.1 million. The company said the increases in sales and earnings resulted from the inclusion of a subsidiary’s results for three months, as opposed to one month in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.
