Baseball has come to the point where you don’t follow teams any more, you follow players. If Jack Morris is your man, it makes no difference if it is the Tigers, or the Twins, or the Blue Jays. It isn’t important if Jose Canseco plays for the A’s, or the Rangers, or the . . .
The team concept is a thing of the past. I think it stinks.
