NEWBURY PARK : Robber Escapes Denny’s with Cash

A robber got away with less than $200 Monday after holding up a Denny’s restaurant in Newbury Park at gunpoint, sheriff’s officials said.
The unidentified man entered the restaurant at 2830 Camino Dos Rios about 3:45 p.m. and demanded money from the cashier while displaying a large gun, deputies said.
The man fled on foot after being given the cash, authorities said. No one was injured and no arrests were made.
