Clear Out: Sushi, San Diego’s premiere alternative arts venue, will be leaving its home of more than 13 years in May. The Salvation Army, landlord of the 5,000-square-foot upstairs space, is evicting the group to clear the way for redevelopment. Sushi executive director Lynn Schuette said future plans are indefinite but “we will continue with all of our planned programming through the end of June.
