Williams Sharp as UCLA Wins

Led by Natalie Williams’ fourth double-double in four games, UCLA won its third consecutive game by defeating Loyola Marymount, 81-47, Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion.

Williams scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Michelle Palmisano scored 17 points and had six assists as four Bruins scored in double figures.

UCLA (4-4) led by 25 points at halftime and outscored the Lions, 20-7, at the start of the second half to increase its lead to 38. The Bruins have won their last three games by respective scores of 25, 48 and 34 points.

Amy Lundquist paced the Lions (7-3) with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
